Conrad Miguel “Mikko” E. Gozalo is an 20-year-old self-proclaimed geek from the Philippines. He is not your stereotypical geek, he enjoy physical activities more than average geeks do.
Mikko studied for a while at the University of the Philippines Diliman. He finished his high school with high honors at the Philippine Science High School in Davao City, Philippines.
Mikko is currently the Chief Technology Officer and Corporate Secretary of BossChief Inc, the makers of BiliBid. He is also currently working as an emergency staff in UP Open University.
Mikko was once hired by a prominent person in mass media to work for their company and worked there for a while. Back in college, he worked as a student assistant at the Diliman Network (the Metropolian Area Network of UP Diliman). In July to August 2011, he worked for a short-term project with Google as the Speech DataOps Project Manager for Filipino. He has also worked as an intern at the Environmental Conservation and Protection Center way back in high school.
He is proudly affiliated with the University of the Philippines Linux Users’ Group (UnPLUG) where he became the organization’s Trusted Lieutenant for Internal Affairs and Trusted Lieutenant for Special Operations. In this organization he became a free and open source advocate in his own way converting some of his friends to Linux users.
He’s into programming, web development, Android programming and other stuff. He also enjoyed playing with microcontrollers way back in high school. He has participated in programming contests of different scopes ranging from intraschool competitions to international competitions such as the ACM-ICPC.
He was also one of the people who developed the Law Registration System, a multi-item bidding platform for course enlistment of the UP College of Law.
He has developed numerous web applications from simple database lookups, a voting platform for his high school council election, online food ordering system and many more.

On the other light, he is an athlete-wannabe. His resting heart rate of 46 and body fat percentage of 6.2% say that he is an athlete. Sadly, he doesn’t play a sport regularly. You may want to help him find one, just comment.
He used to swim once a week. There was also a time when he climbed (indoor climbing) almost everyday for a month until he realized it was too costly.
Are you the one who wrote this site? and this “about page”? why you did not used the word I but rather He? It’s seem that other people do so!

Well for me, using third person (He) in writing your “about page” is something being humble upon telling about yourself. It helps the author not to sound like an egotist person…But by the way, your web page is great!! I like it..I know you’re the best!!Keep up!!!
I don’t think there should be any problems if he uses 1st, or 3rd person. Its just his way of writing. But his profile sure amazed me…

Btw, I don’t really think that it is appropriate to use the first person in writing an about page. So for all others who have reacted, I would just like to say that it is all the more proper to write an about page using the third person.
