Bagyong Ondoy – Advisories, Photos, Videos, How to Donate, etc

Tropical Storm Ketsana

Tropical Storm Ondoy (typhoon) (internationally known as Ketsana) has hit Metro Manila today, September 26, 2009. The typhoon brought almost a month-worth of rainfall in Metro Manila for a duration of six hours – the highest recorded rainfall in the area in 42 years. It brought streets of Metro Manila underwater – mostly in waist-deep flood but it was reported to have reached up to five meters in some areas.

VOLUNTEERS: Sagip Kapamilya Foundation warehouse is bloated! Sagip Kapamilya needs volunteers to pack and send relief goods. You may go to 13 Examiner St, West Triangle, Quezon City or Scout Bayoran St (near Scout Bayoran St corner Tomas Morato Avenue beside Alex III restaurant), Quezon City. You may also volunteer for Kapuso Foundation. Just go to GMA7 near GMA-Kamuning MRT Station. Just ask the guard where the Kapuso Foundation is.

Hey Mikko, I think mali yung text message na nakalagay sa blog mo for donations to Red Cross. :D

It’s not “REDAMOUNT”.

Red /*space*/ amount
dapat. :D
Possible amounts I think is 5, 25, 50 and 100.
Like,
RED 25

Nag post din ako ng donations to red cross in my blog. Hope our donations will help them.

If the Filipino Gov’t did not get rid of the American Bases there would have been plenty of help, and possibly a lot less casualty. Filipinos should weigh in the pros and cons before making a major decision. Why did you vote for Arroyo? She hasn’t done anything but spend your money!

….we can see that filipinos are known for being resiliency, because despite of the crisis that we experienced we still have an ability and find ways in order to survive,… we dont easily give up!and even we face the most tragic days in our lives we still can go up and face the world with a ’smile”, cause we always put in our mind that “after the storm, comes fair weather”, and always dont forget to pray coz HE will alwayz be there to help and response our prayers….may the Lord God bless you all….!

Batusai
October 3, 2009 at 2:13 pm

You might be right Ms. fe. However there is only one person that we could blame in this crisis. The president itself. If she can just look after on all the areas that needs attention this would probably happen, especially in manila, rather than spending the budget in a twaddle restaurant along with her partner in crimes….
