If you go into linux and type the command df -ah you should get the devices printed. From there you can work out what the partitions are used for.

Hi! I have gone through the steps and successfully set up my network.Since we changed the IP address of the router and the prolink adsl, what do you think would be the new ip address of the pro lik adsl router if my belkin router’s ip is 192.168.1.2?

hello…i just want to ask kasi yong network administrator namin was just a consultancy based lng xa and he knows all the set-up in our office and all the password with our system. ask ko lng if is there other means to reset our password in the prolink modem which we are using right now, the PROLiNK Hurricane 5200 Modem/Router. coz there are some sites that was block and we can’t open the admin coz we don’t know the password, and if ever we can know the pasword can we change it or reset the password for confidentiality reason.

Thanks for your post. I have 2 questions:

1) the password you gave worked. Will this have an impact on the security of my PC? There is no option to change the password to something else.

2) I bought an edimax router and it worked plug&play. However, I just learned lately that a switch rather than a router would have sufficed. What is your opinion on this matter?

I tried this before but wasn’t able to figure it out. I been using the wireless router as a switch to globe’s modem/router after that. Just tried it one more time tonight and it works fine. I’m using linksys g router as the main router now.
