” Oprah’s 4 interviews with Jill Bolte Taylor were the first that Oprah did after Eckhart Tolle and they take everything Tolle talks about to another level. Oprah’s copy of Jill’s book, MY STROKE OF INSIGHT, was dog-eared and all marked up and kept reading from it the way she read from A New Earth and recommended it highly.

Oprah’s recommendation was enough for me. I read My Stroke of Insight and I loved it too. This story is as inspiring as The Last Lecture or Tuesdays with Morrie – and even better, it has a Happy Ending!

I liked Oprah when she first started. I was in college at the time so I was able to watch. She covered a lot of thought provoking type of issues. She was more like a regular person, a next door neighbor who happened to have a talk show. I learned a lot from her show (from some of her guests that is) over the years. I don’t watch it as much but only because I haven’t been at home. In recent years, the times I have seen it, I’ve been a bit put off by all of the celebrities she has on the show. It just looks as though, since she’s become famous and has all of this money, she likes hanging with other famous people. I don’t relate to that. I don’t even like the gift giving shows because I can’t participate in it. It use to be fun watching those particular shows but I’ve come across some hard times and it’s not fun watching other people get things that you’d like when you aren’t able to do it for yourself. I guess I envy the success. I would love to be well off and not have to worry about money.

I don’t like Oprah too. I don’t watch her show. Pero may times na natataon na I watch Oprah. And minsan, nagtataray sya. And I find one of her bad side… discrimination. Parang mas in favor sya sa mga black compare to whites. Iba yung dating… basta…

Napansin ko lang in her 2 episodes na nakalimutan ko na.

I read “My Stroke of Insight” in one sitting – I couldn’t put it down. I laughed. I cried. It was a fantastic book (I heard it’s a NYTimes Bestseller and I can see why!), but I also think it will be the start of a new, transformative Movement! No one wants to have a stroke as Jill Bolte Taylor did, but her experience can teach us all how to live better lives. Her TED.com speech was one of the most incredibly moving, stimulating, wonderful videos I’ve ever seen. Her Oprah Soul Series interviews were fascinating. They should make a movie of her life so everyone sees it. This is the Real Deal and gives me hope for humanity.

I stopped listening to Oprah Winfry, when I heard her say,and I quote her,”My black friends and I, believe that OJ is inocent, my white friends and I, believe he is guilty”

That is when I realized, she is abrainless, back stabbing, racist, hippocrit, not worthy of my viewing time.

I THINK WINFREY SUCKS BIGTIME. FIRST SHE PRACTICALLY SUCKED OBAMA OFF TO GET INVITED TO THE INNAUGARATION. SHE ALWAYS ADVERTISES FOR WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCTS, YET SHE IS A BLACK FLIPPER. SHE THINKS SHE’S BETTER THAN ANYONE, BUT FRANKLY SHE’S NO BETTER THAN ANYONE. ALL SHE HAS IS LOTS OF MONEY, A FAT ASS AND BODY, AND A SHACKFRIEND WHO HAS MONEY. WHY HE STAYS WITH HER IS BEYOND ME. WITH HIS LOOKS AND BUILD HE COULD HAVE ANY BLACK CHICK, YET HE CHOOSES A BLIMP. THERE’S NO ACCOUNTING FOR TASTE. I’D MUCH PREFER WATCHING ELLEN DEGENERAS THAT THIS FAT ASSED HIPPO.
