Living on the internet age, news can now be accessed on the Internet. It’s a high-speed technology. It happens at this very moment and in the next few minutes the news is published, unlike the newspaper that you still have to wait for tomorrow.
But still, it has become my habit to read newspapers from the school library everyday. I believe that newspaper articles have better quality with those available on the internet. My daily favorites are the Philippine Daily Inquirer and Philippine Star (THE STAR).
Every time I read newspapers, I usually start from the last part. Sports or entertainment, then lifestyle, then classified ads, then metro news, then world news, business, editorials, then on the first parts the national news. Why do I start from the last part? Cause blogging is more closely related to the last categories.
Yeah, I open the newspaper to look from articles on blogging. And I always end up frustrated, except on lucky days.
But this morning, I had another trip. No, I did not start from the start but I tried to borrow the Philippine Daily Inquirer Sunday Magazines from our librarian. Then, I read them one by one. Then I saw this September 30, 2007 issue (that’s my birthday), it was all about the online world. I opened it quickly, scanned the pages and the article “Catching the Blog” (not sure of the title) caught my eye. I read it, it was all about Pinoy blogosphere. Some dominant blog pips such as Abe Olandres, J Racoma and family and Dado was there.
Yey, it was a great day. I hope print publications’d start to put more blogging articles on their papers since it seems to be impossible by now to put a blogging category on the tabloids! ;D

that’s a good thing some young people still read newspapers. never really appreciated the stuff until i got out of college when i hardly have time to catch the evening news. and you’re right, the news so much accessible on the net, but even then i still don’t read it as often online.
and by the way, your plug on firefox with google toolbar is really helpful, since i’ve been thinking of changing my browser. IE is such a big pain in the butt. hehe
I agree. IE is such a big pain on the butt.
Anyway, its not a plugin. I just coded it in WordPress. Also, it does not show up when using Firefox or other browsers.
