On RCBC Cabuyao Bank Robbery Photos
For the information of those who haven’t heard of it yet, last Friday, May 16, 2008, the bloodiest bank robbery in the Philippine history took place in RCBC Cabuyao in Laguna. Nine people were instantly killed during the robbery leaving one critical who eventually died later on. I’m not going to put everything here but I’ll leave you dear readers with some reads.

The gory and morbid photoset of the RCBC Cabuyao bank robbery is now spreading faster than supersonic on forums and blogs. The photos in the set were mostly pictures of the slain bank employees.
Respect me for my own opinions but I guess those people who posted those photos on forums and blogs were some sort off immature. Put yourself on the shoes of the slain victims’ relatives; aren’t you gonna be angry seeing your loved one’s pictures in such a gory pose spreading faster than gossip?
I believe some of them (people who posted the photosets) thought that more and more people will symphatize by showing how morbid the victims were killed. Heck, writing would do (sorry to photobloggers out there)!
Worse, others might be just traffic-hungry that they take opportunity of events like these. They take opportunity of events to have more visitors in their blogs and boost their earnings! Problogging/Internet marketing is not bad as long as you know what you’re doing but you have to set your limitations.
I’m simply annoyed by these things. No I am not afraid of those photos. In fact, I viewed them past 3:00am alone in our living room (our computer’s location).
Have some nerves, people who posted the photos on their blogs and forums! Raaawr.
Please share your insights in the comments area.

I agree. Reminds me of the ‘fiesta’ about the 12 year old girl who committed suicide.

bad taste yeh i agree but if it will lead to more outrage of the community and final apprehensions of those responsible, at least it outweighs all the negatives.
may God have mercy on the souls of those demons.
