I’m using XP and had once downloaded a ported beta version of YMV (I’m real lazy, Yahoo! Messenger for Vista is just too long to type [this line is an exemption]). I used it for a while but it lagged and “hoarded” memory. Took me a couple of minutes just to log in. I just thought that it was because it was ported and still a beta version but I guess it does… uhmmm… “suck” (for a lack of a better word) even in the real Vista environment. Some of my office mates have Vista and uses YMV, and I don’t think they have a problem with it though. But I don’t really snoop on them when they chat, so maybe they’re harboring murderous intentions while typing away, so I really don’t know. I’ll ask them and add more to this.

YM for Vista, does not enable teh use of webcam. I just loved its looks, too but still using it.
