Privacy Policy

The Geek Brewery network, referred to this document as “TGB Network”, includes the following blogs: http://conradmiguel.com/ (The Geek Brewery).

Build that Geek is maintained by Conrad Miguel E. Gozalo, reffered to this document as the “Owner”, with postal address at 014 Bulaong Subidivision, General Santos City, Philippines. All legal actions shall be filed on trial courts in the Philippines, preferably in trial courts of General Santos City or Quezon City.

At TGB Network, our visitor’s privacy is very deemed very important. This privacy policy outlines the types of information received and collected by TGB Network and it’s third-party advertising partners and how it is used.

Log Files

Like most web servers, the entire TGB Network use log files for security and record purposes. Whenever a visitor visits a website within the network, the following (but not limited to) information are collected: internet protocol (IP) address, browser or agent type, referring pages, exit pages, visited pages and timestamp of the record.

The IP Address of a visitor can be used to determine his Internet Service Provider, thus making it possible to track the location of a user.

In the event that a visitor browses the network thru a mobile phone, the visitor’s cell ID may also be collected. The cell ID may be used to track the location of the visitor with precision ranging from 100m to 32km on rural areas. Although collected, the cell ID information WILL NEVER be used by Owner to track an individual. The information may be used to get aggregate statistics over a vicinity.

Whenever a visitor comments, the visitor’s name and e-mail address is collected. The visitor’s name may be correlated with the IP address, but this information will not be used by the Owner. The visitor’s name and email address will never be sold to third parties unless otherwise stated.

The information in the log files will be used for record and statistics purposes. There is no guarantee that the Owner delete the log files over a period of time.

Cookies

TGB Network may leave cookies in the visitor’s computer. The cookie may contain visitor’s name, email address and URL. This information will be used to remember your identity. In turn, visitors may no longer need to type pertinent information every time they comment.

Google AdSense is an advertising partner of TGB Network. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads on TGB Network. Google AdSense uses the DART cookie to serve relevant advertisements based on the users interests. The users interests is determined by the other sites using the DART cookie that the visitor visited. Visitors may opt-out the use of DART cookies. Visitors may read more about this at http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html.

TGB Network has no control over the cookies stored by our advertising partners.

General Privacy Information

Unless otherwise stated, the information collected and received by the TGB Network will never be given or sold to third-parties at per-individual basis. Meanwhile, aggregate information (except for name and e-mail address) sent by visitors may be given or sold to third-parties.

The Owner may give out any information under the Owner’s discretion to the Supreme Court of the Philippines ONLY, upon request.

Every information received and collected by the TGB Network becomes the property of the Owner.
