I love UP prime. Too bad G15(our block) for this AY09-10 was not really close, as every effort of UP prime were always left unheard by some KJ blockmates. kaya ayun, konti lang kami kung magparticipate(we were ALWAYS less than 10 kapag umaattend ng mga activities) and as a result, we broke the best block streak. huhu. nevertheless, i love that org! It's just unfortunate that we were just not that close, despite the upperclassmen's efforts. Maybe we could say that UP is the Premier and National University, UP is the National University or modestly (as in the pre- New UP Charter days) UP is the Premier State University. Anyway, I agree with the previous poster about his tips on how best you can enjoy your stay here in UP. I'm sure Kalai Life is a little different now from how Cecs and all the previous batches were brought up into it but i guess there remains one general rule/tip on how best you can enjoy your stay inside a dormitory... respect and encourage the diversity within. While you may come from different backgrounds, your all on equal footing inside the Kalai.. so try as much to get along with people and learn the many different cultures that you can expose yourself into. As we formerly say as RAs (hope this goes the same now for the RAs now) "In this University, the classroom prepares you for your professional life, while Kalai prepares you for life itself."
